Read your analytics

The Statistics screen shows who visits your site, where your visitors come from and what they read. This article teaches you how to choose a period, read the cards, open a page’s detail, filter your figures and track a campaign.

Before you start

  • The figures only count human visitors. Bots, spam and addresses with a bad reputation are set aside before counting.
  • The screen goes back up to the last 37 months, on every plan.
  • The figures for your live site and those for your Staging are separate. In the Statistics menu, Production opens the former and Staging the latter.

Choose a period

  1. In the admin menu, open Statistics. The screen opens on the Overview tab, over the last 30 days.
  2. To change the period, open the list of periods, on the right of the bar, and choose a shortcut, for example Last 7 days. The screen reloads on that period.
  3. For a specific period, enter a start date and an end date, then click Apply.
The right side of the Analytics screen bar: the Attribution choice set to Last non-direct touch, the period Last 30 days, its two dates and the Apply button.

Each indicator is compared with the previous period of the same length. An arrow shows the trend.

Read the overview

Under the bar, six indicators and a chart sum up the period. Click an indicator to see its evolution on the chart.

The six indicators of the overview: Page views, Unique visitors, Average time on page, AI visits, Activations and Form submissions, each with its trend.
The cards of the Overview tab
CardWhat it shows
PagesThree views: Top pages, Entry pages and Exit pages.
SourcesFour views: Channels, Referrers, Traffic sources and Top campaigns. Each row gives its Visitors, its Converted and their Rate.
AudienceCountries, screen sizes, browsers, operating systems and New vs returning visitors.
EngagementThe time spent on your pages and the share of pages read to the quarter, the half, three quarters or the end.

A converted visitor is one whose request reached the conversion step of their form.

A view with no data over the period is not displayed. The Nothing to show over the period card, at the bottom of the screen, says what is missing. Referrers, Traffic sources and Top campaigns stay displayed even when empty, with the sentence that says how to fill them.

Open the detail of a page

  1. Click a page’s URL in a card or in the All pages tab. Its detail opens in a side panel.
  2. Read its six indicators, including its Entries and its Exit rate.
  3. Scroll down to the Journey: the pages read just before and just after this one.
  4. Optional: click View the page to open it on your site.
The top of the detail panel for the /pricing/ page: its path, the Production badge, the View the page, View the Markdown and Edit on staging links, its period, then its first indicators, Page views, Unique visitors and Average time on page.

A click on a page of the journey opens its own detail instead.

Filter your figures

  1. In the Filters bar, under the period, open the Add a filter list. Its values are sorted by dimension, for example Campaign or Country.
  2. Choose a value. The screen reloads and the filter shows as a label in the bar.
  3. Optional: add a value from another dimension. Filters add up.
  4. To remove a filter, click the cross on its label. To remove them all, click Clear filters.
The Filters bar with the Source newsletter label and its cross, the Add a filter list and the Clear filters link.

The dimensions are Source, Medium, Campaign, Channel, Entry page, Country, Browser, Screen format, Engagement and HTTP status. A dimension that is already filtered leaves the list: it takes a single value.

The screen’s address keeps your filters and your period. Copy it to send the same view to a member of the site.

Track a campaign

  1. Add the utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign parameters to your campaign links, for example utm_campaign=spring-2026.
  2. Publish or send your links.
  3. In the sources card, click Top campaigns. Each campaign gives its Visitors, its Converted and their Rate.
  4. Optional: click a campaign to see its source and medium pairs.
The Top campaigns view of the sources card: the rentree-2026 campaign expanded on newsletter / email, linkedin / paid-social and meta / paid-social, then the other campaigns, each with its visitors, converted and their rate.

The Attribution choice in the bar decides which arrival of a visitor a conversion is credited to: First touch, Last non-direct touch or Linear (split equally). Changing the choice does not change your data. The choice offered on opening is set in Statistics > Settings, Conversion attribution model field.
