Manage your notifications and emails

Lovely Render keeps you informed in two ways: notifications in your dashboard and a few emails. This article teaches you how to read your notifications, choose your emails and change their language. It also shows how to recognize an email and put your logo in it.

Read your notifications

  1. In the top bar of your dashboard, look at the bell next to your initials. A number on the bell gives the count of unread notifications.
  2. Click the bell. The list of your notifications opens. Unread ones come first, all of them, marked with a blue dot. The latest read ones fill the list up to five. The unread ones then become read and the number disappears.

An invitation to turn on two-factor authentication.You, as long as it is not turned on

The invitation to turn on two-factor authentication comes back at most once every 90 days. It stops as soon as two-factor authentication is turned on. Its text leads to the two-factor authentication on your Account page.

A read notification disappears 30 days after you read it. An unread notification stays until you open the list.

The notifications list open under the bell. At the top, two unread notifications marked with a blue dot: Your site atelier-sauge.fr has been published to Production, 2 hours ago, and Protect your account by turning on two-factor authentication, 1 day ago. Then three read notifications: the changed password, an older publication and the email address change, 2 weeks ago.

Choose your emails

  1. In the top bar of your dashboard, click the circle with your initials, then Account.
  2. In the My profile form, scroll down to Email notifications. One switch per category shows what you receive.
  3. Turn Product announcements and Newsletter on or off.
  4. Click Save. The message Profile updated confirms your choices.

Invoices and billingThe transactional emails and account notices that we are required to send.Always on

The Invoices and billing switch stays checked and grayed out. It reminds you of what you receive no matter what. Each choice is kept with its date and can be changed at any time.

Your emails arrive at your account address. To change it, follow Log in and protect your account.

The My profile section of the Account page: Email notifications, with Product announcements on, Newsletter off and Invoices and billing grayed out, then the Save button.

The emails that are always sent

Some emails protect your account. No switch turns them off:

  • the verification code requested when you log in on a new device;
  • the two-factor authentication alerts, after a successful login or a blocked attempt;
  • the confirmation of a password change;
  • the code that confirms a new email address and the notice sent to the old one;
  • invoices and account notices.

Change the language of your notifications

  1. In Account, My profile form, open the Interface language list.
  2. Type the beginning of the name of your language, then choose it.
  3. Click Save.

Your notifications show in the chosen language, including those already received. Your emails also follow the language of your account.

Recognize an email

All our emails have the same layout. Each email carries in its header the logo of the site that sends it, then the message. The footer gives the name of the site as a link and the precise reason for the email.

The reason given at the bottom of each email

Put your logo in your emails

The emails of your site, like your form notifications, carry your logo and its name. Nothing in them mentions Lovely Render.

  1. In your site’s administration, open Appearance > Images.
  2. In the Logo card, upload your logo in the On a light background slot.

Your next emails carry this logo. As long as no logo is uploaded there, the header shows the name of your site.
