This article explains how to create your Lovely Render account, log in and protect your access. A single account opens all the sites you work on.
Create your account
- Open the Lovely Render sign-up page. If you received an invitation, click Create your account in its email.
- Enter your First name, your Last name, your Email and a Password, then click Sign up. A six-digit code is sent to your address.
- On the Verify your email screen, enter the Verification code then click Confirm. Your account is active and the Dashboard opens.
Your account gives access to no site until an administrator has invited you to it. The Dashboard stays empty until then. The site that the Lovely Render team opens for you appears as soon as it has added you to it.
The code is valid for 15 minutes. To receive another, click Click to resend. The new code replaces the old one.
- On the Log in page, enter your Email and your Password, then click Sign in.
- Enter the code for the second step, then click Verify. The Dashboard opens.
On a device that Lovely Render does not recognize, the password is never enough. The second step depends on your choice.
| Method | When and how |
|---|---|
| Authenticator app | Asked at every login. The code shows in the app on your phone, even offline. |
| Code by email | Asked on a device not yet recognized. The code arrives at your address and stays valid for 15 minutes. |
The code by email applies as long as you have not enabled an app. It arrives on the Verify your sign-in screen. If it does not reach you, click Resend the code. A few dozen seconds separate two sends.

Stay recognized on a device
When you validate a code received by email, Lovely Render recognizes that device for 30 days. It does not ask you for a code on that device during that time. You have nothing to check.
Recognition applies to that device and that browser only. Another browser, cleared cookies or the end of the 30 days bring the code request back.
With an authenticator app, the code is asked at every login, even on a usual device.
Enable two-factor authentication
An authenticator app protects your account better than the code by email. The code is born on your phone and goes through no email.
Before you start
Install an authenticator app on your phone, for example Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password or Authy.
Link your app
- At the top of the dashboard, click your initials, then Account.
- In the Two-factor authentication section, click Enable two-factor authentication. A window shows a QR code.
- Scan the QR code with your app. If the scan fails, expand Manual entry and type the key shown in the app.
- Enter the Verification code shown by the app, then click Verify and enable. Your ten backup codes appear.
- Click Download the codes and store the file in a safe place.
The section then shows Two-factor authentication is enabled. Nothing is enabled before the first code is verified. After about 15 minutes without a code, start again from the beginning.
Each backup code replaces your app’s code once. The Account page shows the number of codes left and warns you when none remain. For a new set of ten codes, turn two-factor authentication off then on again.
As long as you have not enabled it, a notification reminds you in the app, at most once every three months.

Log in without your phone
If you lost your phone, a backup code opens your account.
- On the code screen, expand I no longer have my authenticator.
- Enter one of your codes in the Backup code field, then click Sign in with a backup code.
- On your Account page, in the Two-factor authentication section, click Disable.
- Enter another backup code in the Verification code or backup code field, then click Disable.
- Enable two-factor authentication with your new phone. You receive ten new backup codes.

React to an unknown login
Lovely Render writes to you when your account is used to log in. With an app, you receive an email at every successful login. You receive another when someone enters your password but fails the code.
This second email, A sign-in attempt was blocked, means a third party knows your password. Change it at once, here and everywhere you reused it.
If you receive a code or an alert that you did not trigger, lock any intruder out of your account.
- In the email, click This wasn’t me.
- On the Sign out all your devices? page, click Yes, sign out all my devices. The Your account has been secured page shows.
- Open the reset email that follows and choose a new password.
The confirmation signs out all your devices, Staging sites included. It removes recognition from all your devices and cancels the codes in progress. The link is valid for 24 hours and works once.

Change your password
- On your Account page, go to the Password section.
- Enter your Current password and your New password.
- If two-factor authentication is on, also enter the Two-factor authentication code.
- Click Change password. Your other sessions close, Staging sites included.
You stay logged in on the device where you make the change. Your recognized devices stay recognized too. To remove their recognition, sign out your other devices.
Recover a forgotten password
- On the Log in page, click Forgot your password?
- Enter your email address, then click Send reset link.
- Open the email you received and follow its link to choose a new password.
The screen answers the same whether the address has an account or not. No one can thus check who is a Lovely Render customer.
Change your email address
Your address receives the password reset link. To protect it, changing it has its own form and requires your password.
- On your Account page, go to the Email address section.
- Enter the New email address and your Current password, plus the Two-factor authentication code if asked.
- Click Change my email address. A six-digit code is sent to the new address.
- In the Confirm your new email form, enter this code, then click Confirm new email.
The change takes effect when you enter the code. Your old address is warned as soon as you ask. Both addresses are notified of the change.
Sign out your other devices
You can stay logged in on as many devices as you want. Logging out of one does not close the others. Close them all at once if you lost a phone or used a shared computer.
- From a logged-in device, open your Account page.
- In the Signed-in devices section, click Sign out all my other devices. The message Your other devices are signed out. shows.
All your other sessions close, Staging sites included. Your other devices lose their recognition and the codes in progress are canceled. The device where you click keeps its own.

Edit your profile
- On your Account page, in My profile, edit your First name, your Last name or the Interface language.
- Under Email notifications, choose the emails you want to receive.
- Click Save. The message Profile updated. shows.
The menu under your initials also leads to the Terms of Service accepted at sign-up and to Log out.
