# Editor # Build your pages yourself in a visual editor You write your text and place your photos right in the page, with your design, your header and your footer. Your headings, photos and buttons show up in your site’s colors and fonts. ### Adjust your photos Select a photo to change its shape, its cropping or its description. ### Find every setting in one place Each block has three tabs on the right of the screen: Settings for its content, Styles for its look and Animations for its movement. ## See your page on every screen The editor’s preview shows your page at the width of a desktop, a tablet or a phone. Change a heading size or the number of columns for one screen only: the others keep their settings. You first see the ones that fit where you are. 2. 2 ### Set the number of items For a section that repeats, choose how many you need: four dates or six people, for example. 3. 3 ### Insert it in your page It takes on your site’s colors and fonts. These checks follow criteria from the RGAA (the French accessibility standard). You’re still free to publish. - ### Find your photos without leaving the editor Find a royalty-free photo without leaving the Media block. Your site makes your photos and videos lighter so they load fast. ### Bring over the content of your old site Copy your text from your current site or a document and paste it into the editor. Your headings, paragraphs and lists become blocks. ## You choose when your changes go live You edit your pages on your staging site and publish when everything is ready. ### Review before you publish You see the list of your changes every time before they go live. ### Get an earlier version back Each page keeps the history of its changes. If something you published doesn’t suit you, put an earlier version of your site back online. ## Frequently asked questions *### Do I need to know how to code to use the editor?* No. You write in the page and set a block’s look in menus. If you know CSS, you can also write your own on a block. *### Is it WordPress?* Yes. The editor is WordPress’s, with Lovely Render’s blocks. If you’ve already written a page in a recent version of WordPress, you’re on familiar ground. *### Can I see my page on my phone before I publish it?* Yes. Open your staging site on your phone: you see the page exactly as it will be published, animations included. *### Will I see my animations while I edit my page?* No. The editor shows each block in its final place so you can edit it. Your animations play on your staging site. *### Can a teammate publish without my approval?* No. Only the people you give the right to publish can put changes online. The others work on the staging site. *### Can I bring over the content of my current site?* Yes. Paste your text into the editor, then lay it out to recreate your sections: allow a little time per page. Once connected to your site, your AI can also carry over your old pages for you. *### Is my work lost if I close the page without saving?* No. A backup copy is saved while you work, and you find it again when you come back. *### Can ChatGPT or Claude write my pages?* Yes, once they’re connected to your site. They can create a page, add sections or rewrite a text on your staging site.
