# Read your content list

This article describes the list of a type: its rows, its translations, its column families, its filters and its figures.

## Open the list of a type

Each content type has its list: the **Pages** menu, or the menu of your type, for example **Properties for sale**. Categories have theirs in the menu of the types that cite them, for example **Cities** under **Properties for sale**.

The list opens on the title, the languages and the date of each content. Column families and filters add the rest.

## Read a row

| Element | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| The title | Opens the content in the editor. A content without a title shows **(no title)** followed by the start of its text. |
| **1 missing field**, under the title | A required field is empty. Hover the label to read the list of fields. A complete content does not have this line. |
| The address, under the title | The address of the page from the root of the site, for example /properties-for-sale/beach-house/. It is the same in Staging and in Production. |
| The label after the title | The change that the next site publication will make for this content. The table of labels after the title details them one by one. |
| The date | The publication date, or the date of the last change for a draft. |

A draft that has a slug shows the address it will take once published. A new version shows that of the content it will replace. A composition, a template or a draft without a slug has no address.

![The first four rows of the Properties for sale list: Industrial loft with the New label, Chalet at the foot of the slopes as a draft with the Removed label, a house in English, then Townhouse with garden and its 1 missing field line. Each title carries its address below, the + EN and FR badges in the Languages column, then the date.](https://static.lovelyrender.com/uploads/2026/10/917-doc-contenus2-liste-lignes.png)

| Note | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| **New** | The content will go live at the next publication of the site. |
| **Modified** | The content is live. Its live version will be replaced by this one at the next publication. |
| **Withdrawn** | The content is live and you have put it back to draft or made it private. It will leave the site at the next publication. |
| **Deleted** | The content is live and you have moved it to the trash. It will leave the site at the next publication. It shows in the **Trash** view. |
| **Hidden** | The page is set not to be indexed: Google does not show it. |
| **New version** | A new version of a published content that is being written. |

Hover **New**, **Modified**, **Withdrawn** or **Deleted**: a tooltip shows **Changes going to production**. The publishing screen uses the same words. A content that the publication leaves as it is carries none of these labels.

## Read the translations

On a site in several languages, the list shows your content in all languages. The **Locales** column gives a badge for each other language of the site.

| Badge | Meaning | On click |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **EN**, in green | The English translation exists. | It opens in the editor. |
| **+ EN**, circled | The English translation does not exist. | The editor creates the translation, linked to this content. |
| **EN**, in gray | The English translation is in the trash. | Nothing. Restore it from the **Trash** view. |

A single-language site does not have this column. A new version shows a gray dash: it takes over the translations of the content it replaces when you publish it.

## Act on a row

When you hover a row, its actions appear under the title.

| Action | Effect |
| --- | --- |
| **Edit** | Opens the content in the editor. |
| **Quick edit** | Opens the row as a quick edit form. For a content that has its page, the form offers the **SEO Title**, the **Meta Description** and the **Noindex** box. Ticked, this box hides the page from Google. |
| **Trash** | Moves the content to the trash. If published, it will leave the site at the next publication. |
| **View** or **Preview** | Opens the page on Staging. A draft offers **Preview**. |
| **Statistics** | Opens the page detail in a panel. Offered for a live content. |
| **Clone** | Creates a new content from this one. |
| **Create a new version** | Creates a working copy of a published content, which you publish when it is ready. When one exists, the action becomes **Open the new version**. |

[Prepare the new version of a live page](https://lovelyrender.com/documentation/prepare-new-version/) details the new version.

## Show a column family

Above the table, the **Show** row offers four buttons. Each shows a column family and a second click hides it. You can show several. Your choice is remembered for you and for this type: your list of pages and your list of properties for sale each have their own.

| Button | Columns shown |
| --- | --- |
| **SEO** | The **SEO Title** and the **Meta Description** of each page, editable in place. With Google Search Console, its **Clicks** and its **Position**. Its **Referrers** and its **Internal links**. |
| **Statistics** | Its **Views** and their trend, its **AI visits**, its **Web performance** and its form **Submissions**. |
| **Advice** | One badge per piece of advice in the **Advice** tab of Analytics. |
| **Data** | The fields of your type, one column each, then its references. |

A family appears only if it has something to show for this type. When the columns exceed the width of the screen, the table scrolls sideways. The checkbox and the title stay on the left. On a phone, each content is shown as a card with the families shown.

The **Screen Options** button, at the top right, sets the number of contents per page and hides a single column. It follows the same choices as the buttons.

## Filter the list

1. Above the table, in **Filters**, open the **Add a filter** list. Each value shows in parentheses the number of contents it would keep.
2. Choose a value. The list keeps only the contents concerned and the filter becomes a tag.
3. Optional: add a filter from another group. Each filter narrows the list.
4. To remove a filter, click the cross on its tag. **Clear filters** removes them all.

| Group | Values | Contents kept |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Language** | One per language of the site. | The contents in that language. |
| **Changes going to production** | **New**, **Modified**, **Withdrawn** or **Deleted**. | The contents that carry this label. |
| **SEO** | **Missing SEO title** | The contents without a written SEO title, neither by you nor by the template. Google receives their title followed by the name of the site. |
| | **SEO title too long** | The contents whose title received by Google exceeds 60 characters. |
| | **Missing meta description** | The contents without a description, neither their own nor the template’s. |
| **Indexing** | **Hidden (noindex)** or **Indexed**. | The pages hidden from Google, or those it can show. |
| **Data** | **Incomplete** | The contents with an empty required field. |
| **Translations** | **Not yet translated into** followed by a language. | The contents without a translation in that language. |
| One group per reference of the type, for example **City** | One linked content per value. | The contents linked to that one. |

**Language** and **Translations** exist only on a site with several languages. **SEO** and **Indexing** exist only for types that have pages, **Data** only for types that have required fields. A value that would keep no content is not offered.

Your filters are in the address of the page. Bookmark a filtered list or send the address to a member of the site. Pagination, sorting and search keep the filters. The **All**, **Published**, **Drafts** and **Trash** links start again without them.

## Edit the SEO title of a page

With the **SEO** family, the list shows what Google receives from each content. Black text was written for this content. Gray text appears as long as you write nothing: the SEO title of the template or the title followed by the name of the site. For the description, it is the template’s or **No description**.

Under each text, its length and Google’s limit are shown, for example 48/60 for a title and 134/155 for a description. The counter turns red beyond it, because Google will cut the text.

1. Click an SEO title or a meta description. It opens as a field, with its counter.
2. Edit the text. The counter follows your typing.
3. Press **Enter** or click **Save**. **Esc** or **Cancel** closes the field without changing anything.

![The SEO family of the list: the SEO title and description of a loft shown in gray, then the meta description of a chalet opened as a field, with its 47/155 counter and the Save and Cancel buttons.](https://static.lovelyrender.com/uploads/2026/10/920-doc-contenus2-liste-seo.png)

Empty the field to go back to the template’s text. The **Bulk edit** sets several contents to **Hidden (noindex)** or to **Indexed** at once. The title and the description cannot be copied from one content to another.

## Read the figures for each page

The **Statistics** and **Advice** families show the figures of your live site over the last 30 complete days. The clicks, position, referrers and internal links of the **SEO** family cover the same period. Your team’s visits to Staging do not count.

Next to the buttons, **Production figures for the last 30 days, calculated on** followed by a date says when they were calculated. The calculation runs every night and at each site publication.

| Column | Meaning | On hover |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Clicks** | The clicks from Google to the page. | Its impressions in Google. |
| **Position** | Its average place in Google’s results. | |
| **Referrers** | The number of other sites its visitors come from. | The first five. |
| **Internal links** | The links to it from your other pages. | Its internal weight and its depth. |
| **Views** | Its views and their change compared with the previous 30 days. | Its visitors and the views of the previous 30 days. |
| **AI visits** | The readings of the page by an AI assistant. | |
| **Web performance** | Its speed for your visitors: **Good**, **Needs improvement** or **Poor**. **Insufficient data** appears when too few visits were measured. | Its three measures. |
| **Submissions** | The forms sent from the page. | |
| **Advice** | One badge per piece of advice, for example **Orphan page** or **Content to refresh**. A click opens the **Advice** tab of Analytics. | |

Clicks and position require Google Search Console. As long as it is not connected, the SEO family shows **Connect Google Search Console to see the clicks and position of each content in Google.** A content that is not live shows a gray dash.

Click the header of a column to sort the list by that figure. The **Views** filters (Up, Down or No views), **Web performance** and **Advice** are added to **Add a filter**. These columns and filters appear only to members who can open Analytics.

## Open the detail of a page

Click a figure or a piece of advice in a row, or the **Statistics** action. The page detail opens in a panel, over the same 30 days. It is the detail of the **All pages** tab of Analytics, with three more cards.

| Card | Content |
| --- | --- |
| **Google preview** | The page as a Google result shows it, its missing data, its translations and the changes of the next publication. The **Quick edit** button closes the panel and opens the row as a form. |
| **Advice** | The page’s advice, each with **See details**. |
| **Forms** | The forms sent from the page over the period, by form. |

## Read the fields of each content

The **Data** family gives a column to each field of the type, in the order of the **Data** tab of the editor, then one to each reference.

![The Properties for sale list with the Data family shown: the price, the surface area, the city and the property type of each content, one column per field.](https://static.lovelyrender.com/uploads/2026/10/210-types-donnees.png)

| Field | Column content |
| --- | --- |
| Number, date or choice in a list | The value as the site displays it: the price in its format, the date or the label of the choice. |
| Image or video | A thumbnail. For a video, its cover image. |
| Long text | Its first three lines. |
| Reference | The title of each linked content. Click it to open it. |
| Empty required field | **Missing**, in orange. |
| Empty field, or hidden by the value of another field | A gray dash. |

To sort by a number or a date, click the header of its column. The largest or most recent comes first, then the reverse on the next click. Contents where the field is empty stay at the end of the list in both directions. Other fields cannot be sorted. A type without fields or references does not have the **Data** family.
