## Visitors, AIs and bots are counted separately

every page requested from your site

### Your visitors

There’s a person behind every page view in your analytics.

### AIs

ChatGPT, Claude and the other AIs are recognized as such and don’t add to your views.

### Bots

The crawlers of Google, Bing and the AIs have their own tab. Spam and tools looking for security holes are filtered out.

## Find the source of every visit and every request

[video](https://static.lovelyrender.com/uploads/2026/10/286-stats-sources.webm)

Every visit is sorted by channel: search engines, AIs, social networks, emails or advertising. You also see the site that sent it and the campaign written into your link (the UTM parameters).

On each request, your site records the campaign that brought the person. You find it in your list of requests and in their export.

In your analytics, you choose which campaign to credit a request to: the first, the last, or all of them in equal shares.

The searches that lead to each page are added to your analytics as soon as your Google and Bing accounts are connected.

## See what happens on each of your pages

[video](https://static.lovelyrender.com/uploads/2026/10/289-stats-detail.mp4)

Click one of your pages in your analytics to see its full detail:

- its views, its visitors and the share of those who leave the site after it
- the pages read just before and just after it
- the links that lead to it and the number of visitors who follow them
- the channel, country and device of its visitors
- the time they spend on it and how fast it loads for them
- its clicks in Google and the searches typed to find it

So you know whether visitors to your Pricing page leave or go on to your contact form.

You see whether your pages pass Google’s speed criteria.
- ### See which countries and devices people read you from Your readers’ browsers and the share of those who come back are shown too. ![The Audience card on its New vs returning visitors view: 5,493 new visitors and 2,702 who come back.](https://static.lovelyrender.com/uploads/2026/10/177-stats-audience-retour.png) ![The Audience card on its Countries view: a world map and sessions by country, with France at the top.](https://static.lovelyrender.com/uploads/2026/10/176-stats-audience.png)

## Filter your analytics on the visitors or the pages you care about

### Combine your criteria

Filters add up. For example, you see the visitors who came from Google on a phone.

### Send the view to a colleague

A colleague who is a member of the site and opens your link sees the same thing as you.

### Find the URLs to redirect

See the URLs on your site that no longer lead anywhere. Redirect the ones that still get visits.

## Your visitors stay anonymous

You see what your visitors do without knowing who they are. That way, your analytics respect the GDPR.

### You only see totals

Visits add up by page, by country, by device and by campaign. No one person’s path appears anywhere.

### Your analytics stay with you

Your site keeps them on its server in France. Nobody else receives them.

## Frequently asked questions

*### Do I need a cookie banner for my analytics?*

No. Your analytics stay anonymous and are only for you. In that case, the CNIL and other European data protection authorities allow audience measurement without consent. Your site loads no advertising tracker, so there’s nothing to accept.

*### Can I add Google Analytics or Matomo?*

No. Your site refuses any script that doesn’t come from itself, to protect itself from a forgotten tracker or a hacked provider. Almost everything you looked for in those tools is already in your analytics.

*### How do I track my conversions in Google Ads or Meta without a tracker?*

Your site itself sends every request it receives to Google Ads and Meta: your pages need no tracker. That way, your campaigns are optimized on all your requests.

*### Does an ad blocker skew my numbers?*

No, your server counts every visit. Reading time and speed are measured in the browser and may be missing for visitors who block scripts. They remain good orders of magnitude.

*### Why are my numbers different from those of another analytics tool?*

Because your analytics lose no visitors and set bots aside. If the other tool measures in the browser, it loses the visitors who block its script or refuse its cookies: your numbers are higher. If it doesn’t sort its traffic, it also counts bots and spam: your numbers are lower.

Each tool also defines in its own way what a visit is and how long a visitor stays recognized. So compare trends rather than totals.

*### Do all plans keep three years of analytics?*

Yes. Every plan shows and keeps 37 months of analytics. You compare each month with the same months of the two previous years. Changing plan changes nothing in your history.

*### Do my analytics slow down my site?*

No. We’ve optimized your analytics to be as light as possible: your pages load no extra script.

*### What happens if I go over my plan’s page views?*

Your site keeps counting everything and you’re not charged anything extra. We review the plan together at renewal if it keeps happening.

*### Can I show my analytics to a colleague?*

Yes, if they’re a member of the site with the Editor or Administrator role. Then send them the address of your screen.

*### Do my tests in Staging mix with my numbers?*

No. The Staging site and the live site each have their own analytics. You switch from one to the other on the same screen.

*### What happens to my analytics if I leave?*

You take them with you in your site’s export. It contains your analytics day by day over the last 37 months. Any spreadsheet opens its files. The screens that present your figures aren’t part of the export.
